Fungal Disease Spreading To Birds

For the last few months in New Zealand many kakapo have died because of a deadly disease that has spread to many birds. In New Zealand there are 35 kakapos in the country that are only in 3 main hospitals of New Zealand.

It's sad that one of New Zealand's native birds are dying because of a deadly disease that soon might effect the kiwis and many more native animals! New Zealand only has about 160 birds of this kind still alive. A kakapo called Nora 1-A has been announced as the sickest kakapo being treated. Try to help the birds stay alive!
