Tennis With Peter

On Tuesday 23rd we had our first lesson with our mentor Peter. We played a little game first so that we were ready. When we finished our warm up we were ready to hit with the actual Tennis racket! Room 9 played with us half way through the game until they had to leave.

When Kaulave left (because he's in room 9) it was just me and Maddy in our group so I went on the other side. We had demonstrations on how to hit that ball because a lot of us were hitting it over the fence. I had a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again next week Tuesday!

My Morning With ToiToi

On Tuesday 23rd room 9 spent their morning with room 10 reading books with ToiToi. In my group was Krista, D.j., Musika and Mona the person from ToiToi. I learnt how to explain what I am reading more. I even learnt something about Mona which was that she has to wear those bracelets for one year, so I think shes taking it off this year.

I thought ToiToi was fun and I would love to have them come back again!

Questions for Agueer

This blog post is about me writing down questions for Agueer about my book I read.
1) What does our PekaPeka bats use to hunt?
2) Elephants communicate to each other by using what?
3) Who can ear better, Elephants or Humans?
4) How many characteristics do sound waves have?
5) What are the names for all of the characteristics?
Search up Agueer Ruapotaka School to see the questions she wrote for me!

Reflections on term 3 goals

Achieved - I achieved my reading goal by reading more and trying to understand it to put it into sentences.
Achieved -  I have achieved my writing goal by getting more information or facts about a story to put into paragraphs.
Not Achieved - I have not achieved my maths goal because I have not been practising my 12 times tables at home and at school.

Deli Ali 2.0 - Glasses

Since I blogged about the Deli Ali, I found out that there is another Deli called Deli Ali 2.0! I found out by my friend Agueer. She commented about the Deli Ali 2.0 which gave me an idea to do another blog post about it.  As you know I wrote the steps on how to do it on my other blog post, and that is what I'm doing on this one! For this process you will need to know all the names of your fingers, but if you don't know just research it.
Steps on how to do it:
1) First get the tip of your thumb and ring finger together.
2) Now get the tip of your pinky and middle finger together,
but make sure the pinky is at the bottom.
3) Last but not least face the pair of glasses a the bottom then
make sure your index finger is pointing up!
