My Group's Advertisement Of Road Safety!

                                                  Here is my group's advertisement!!!

Our Advertisements and Posters

For the past 3 days my room have been working
on ad's and posters for road safety week. We got into groups
of 4 or 5 so that each group would have the same amount of students.
↖️My group were Madisyn, Winnie, Shaniqua and Kymani.
It was fun acting all the scenes that we made.
We also had Limiteti in our group but she has been away for the past week which is sad that she wasn't included.    The groups that did posters got to present their posters today but the advertisement groups did not get to introduce their ad because we running out of time. I don't have the ad in blog post but I'll have it in my next one!
In my group we all decided to do an ad because we all thought it would be fun acting!

The Big Surprise

Today I woke up with such excitement, because this was the day we were going to England, back to the story. I rushed to my dresser cheering in silence trying not to wake up the rest of the family. I packed all the essentials I needed.  Soon my dad woke up, his big yawn soon woke up my brother and mum. I asked my parents where were we going to stay, they said The Dun-church hotel, as soon as I heard that name I imagined that the hotel would be fancy with lights that show multiple colours or birds that flicker around the room.

After everyone packed all their needs we hopped in the car ready to go to the airport. When we arrived at the airport I saw the flight that we were going to be on. I was so excited to be going to England! I thought to myself that they might not have some of the food we have like Burger King or KFC but I knew that they have McDonald's which made me not to worry about food. After that we heard our flight was being agnomened over the speaker. We rushed as fast as we could to gate 5 where our flight was being held. 

When we got there we were so lucky to have 2 more people waiting in line. My dad soon showed all our passports to the flight attendant, she said "Your good to go". As we got on the plane I turned on the t.v that was attached to the back of the chair that was in-front of me. It was 3 hours long so I had a little nap. We ordered cookies and all sorts of refreshments along the way.

When we arrived in England a person was waiting for us with a sign saying The Dorchesters. I knew that was our ride to The Dun-church hotel. As we arrived at the hotel it looked really fancy, it had a spa with the most sparkly and dazzling water I have ever seen. We entered our room that we were going to stay in. When we entered we saw a poster saying The Festival, I was so happy to be going there but it was 2 days after today but it was okay.


2 days later we went to the festival it was very packed. There were a lot of people from all over the country here to see the festival. It had large floats that I thought were going to touch the clouds and it also had fireworks that BURSTED into the sky. Soon I saw a float that looked like a car and a balloon that looked like the queen until I realised that was the queen. I couldn't believe the queen was in a car right in - front of my EYES!

(Introduction)

Yesterday ToiToi came to our school. They came to our school to show their new part 11 of the book. They inspired us to try and write more stories or more drawings to publish into ToiToi.

(Greet and Meet)

Yesterday ToiToi came to our school. They introduced themselves to us which was exciting. The only workers I knew were Jo, Michelle and Mona. Konzay from room 12 came up because 1 of his stories was published in the book, the story was called ''My Friend Dominic". I liked the story because it showed how much Konzay really missed Dominic which was great because it shows a real friendship. 

(Break Into Groups)

When we finished introducing ourselves we got into groups. In my group it was Madisyn, Diego, Musika and Tyresse. Our story-teller was Jo which had an a amazing accent. I asked her is she British, she said yes. I was so happy to meet a real British person. I think that she was a great worker because she told us to say what ever we thought about the story. 

(Read Books)

The stories in the book that we read was Blue, Fireworks, Phoenix, The Fall and The Bridge.  In my group we did 2 medals and a mission. My favourite part about the whole thing was when I asked Jo has she met the queen, she said ''no but she has passed me with her family''. When she said that I just freaked out while Madisyn was embarrassed.

When ToiToi went I thought to myself that was going to write a story to publish to ToiToi!

My Recount

(Introduction)

On the 1st Wednesday of the school holidays my mum, my brother and I went to Bungee Jump. We went to Bungee Jump because we finished cleaning our house.

(Paid for Bungee Jump)

When my mum told my brother and I that we were going we were so EXCITED!!! My mum paid for my brother and I to jump because she had the money. While my brother and I were waiting in line with our mum, I felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. The line that we were waiting in was small in the front but as it went longer I felt nervous. I worried that if I jump the ropes might break but my mum said it won't. 

(Bungee Jumping)

After waiting in line for 10 minutes it was my brother and I's turn to Bungee Jump. I could tell that my brother was feeling brave because when the worker said "You 2 here please" my brother ran but I just walked.  The first thing that the worker said to me before he strapped me up was "How old are you?", I said 9 years old. When he finished strapping me with the ropes he counted down from 5 then I jumped. 

(Bought Food)

After we bungee jumped we bought Subway. I had a bread called Grain bread, but when I go to Subway I usually get White bread but Grain bread was okay. My brother and I got Oreo milkshakes that were really yummy. 

(Conclusion)

I felt so excited and so happy when going to bungee jump. I wish that I went back to bungee jump so that I can experience that feeling again which was flying. I also wish that it lasted longer. I had a great time bungee jumping!
