My Morning With ToiToi

On Tuesday 23rd room 9 spent their morning with room 10 reading books with ToiToi. In my group was Krista, D.j., Musika and Mona the person from ToiToi. I learnt how to explain what I am reading more. I even learnt something about Mona which was that she has to wear those bracelets for one year, so I think shes taking it off this year.

I thought ToiToi was fun and I would love to have them come back again!

Reflections on term 3 goals

Achieved - I achieved my reading goal by reading more and trying to understand it to put it into sentences.
Achieved -  I have achieved my writing goal by getting more information or facts about a story to put into paragraphs.
Not Achieved - I have not achieved my maths goal because I have not been practising my 12 times tables at home and at school.

Reflection on Term 1 Goals

Reading:My goal for reading is to improve my expression because I read with a low tone. My other goal for reading is knowing what the word in the story means.
Not Achieved: I did not achieved it because I forgot I had this goal.

Writing:My goal for writing is to have more detail. My other goal for writing is to have more paragraphs.
Achieved: I achieved it because I was focusing on my writing.

Maths:My goal for maths is to learn how to tell time.
Achieved: I achieved this goal when my dad was getting his massage while I was sitting in their looking at the clock.

Former president of the United States of America visited New Zealand for 4 days short. For his first day here in New Zealand he spent his time playing golf with Sir John Key in North land.  Mr Obama had arrived in New Zealand by a private jet at midnight and stayed in Auckland's waterfront.  He will meet prime minister Jacinda Adrern.

He will attend an invite only event with more than 800 members of the business. (Maori and political community). On Friday, Barrack Obama will meet with 20 women from the Wahine Toa Network of Maori women.  He will do that before his flight to Australia.

Challenges

In this story named The Independence games it is about
Israel and her friends doing the Independence games. In the
games Israels favourite games are
running, cycling and swimming. Israel has been in the Independence game for three years. The problem is Israel has visual problems and a right hemiplegia (which in her case, means
that she experiences weakness on the
right side of her body). If you want
to know more about hemiplegia just
type it up on google. The reason why I like this book is because it shows not to stop dreaming!
