EXTREME SCREEN

Talaofa Lava this is a photo when Room 9 went to the Manaiakalani Film Festival . We were told that in the Olympics film to never give up on your dream and to always support and care for our Olympians. In the photo there are only 16 people from Room 9 that came to the Film Festival. The film festival was held at Hoyts  Sylvia Park. I think the best school that made films was Tamaki College. Best day ever.

The Beautiful Botanic Garden

This photo was taken when we went to the Botanic Gardens. At the garden we did something fun and called ourselves the names of the beautiful flowers we saw. My pretty name was Verbena. It is a purple, pinkish colour. The best part was when I saw the flower I wanted to see, the MAGNOLIA. I learned that Pohutukawa trees are native to New Zealand because they only grow in New Zealand.

The Dancing Poem

I did a limerick poem. Its about a girl who likes to dance and she has to teach her friend who's a boy that has to dance hip hop and jazz. Dancing makes me happy because I move and dance around. It's also very very fun.

Cheetah Style

This is a image of my work. In the image I wrote a limerick poem about cheetahs. Cheetahs are the fastest land animals. The reason why I did cheetahs is because they remind my of relay races at school. Cheetahs like to drink water and run really fast like the Flash. I think Cheetahs live in the deseret and the jungle!

Our Fast Cross Country

Did you hear about our cross country? Well I will tell you. Out of the year five students Fakaola came first, Tristan came second and then Brazie came third. In my race Daniel from room 6 came first, Ka from room 7 came second and then Limiteti from my room came third. I fell and had a bleeding knee and a sore arm and hip. I felt sad because I fell down and wasn't able to finish the race.

Pretty Pink Flowers

I learned that nurturing the garden means we need to water it everyday. Our garden is slowly growing in the bright warm sun. I take care of our garden by watering it on Tuesday. Gardens need lot's of care like watering,looking after, soiling it, helping it and by gardening more flowers. I love our pretty, pink flowers. Our garden!
